About Professional Interiors

In 1989 Cayenne Barnes became a construction supervisor for a builder doing $700,000 - $1,000,000 homes.  Here she learned  about all the trades and about building.  She  supervised, coordinated, and managed all the contracting services, material orders, and sub-contractor tradesmen. Having developed a wealth of knowledge, experience, and business know-how, Cayenne started a new business, Professional Interiors, in 1995 to focus on providing custom design and quality renovations & additions. The challenge  and reward of each project is in the details, whether it's keeping the integrity of an older home or making each space truly workable and unique for each client.

Professional Interiors specializes in custom additions. renovations, and  kitchens and baths. We are also very experienced in renovating historic homes.  We know people want their homes to express their personality and provide function, convenience, and ease of operation. We can help you design your home with workflow and lifestyle in mind. For instance, we will design the best way to reconfigure your space whether it is opening up the kitchen to facilitate entertaining or tucking away a home office for privacy.

We have a professional, experienced and reliable staff that is respectful & values communication.  Cayenne, Jeff, Jossarian, Bob, Jon, and Patrick will take care of your home. We are fully licensed and insured with both General Liability & Workers Compensation. We hire and manage excellent sub-contractors for our electrical, plumbing, HVAC and sheetrock work.

We help our clients select cabinets, tile, light fixtures, appliances, and accessories.  We consult on tile design and paint colors.  Many of our clients are amazed at the tile designs we come up with.  Designs they love, but would never have thought of themselves.  These are some of the many services that set us apart.

Professional Interiors also renovates commercial interiors.  Be it an old service station, a historic warehouse, or just an empty office site, we can transform it into a dynamic, unique space suiting the needs of the business.
